Each pair is individually made of high fired stoneware clay and handcrafted from start to finish in Birmingham, Alabama, by designer and master artisan, Susan Gordon. They are then cleaned, bisque fired, glazed, glaze-fired, and then hand-painted with 22K gold luster and fired for a third and final firing to melt and fuse the gold to the vitrified ceramic surface.

Recommend Care: Gently hand wash only using non-abrasive, non-harsh chemicals. Gold is a soft precious metal and any harsh dishwashing soaps can scratch it over time.
