This pixel also shares customer browsing behavior on your online store. 5. PROCESSING OF INFORMATION BY SHOPIFY

Our store made available through our Site is hosted on Shopify, Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you via our Site.

Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases and the general Shopify application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

If you choose a direct payment gateway to complete your purchase, then Shopify stores your credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is stored only as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transaction. After that is complete, your purchase transaction information is deleted.

All direct payment gateways adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover.

PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.

6. RECORDKEEPING OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION

Depending on the product you have purchased, it may be necessary to keep a record of the transaction for business purposes or to enable us to respond to your concerns. We may hold Personal Information for the following purposes:

Georgia Kate Boutique does not share the Personal Information of its users with any unaffiliated third parties for their promotional purposes. Our online store is hosted on Shopify, Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform, which includes payment processor(s) & shipping agent(s), that allows us to sell our products and services to you, and ensure the payment and delivery of your purchased products. Accordingly, Shopify may have access to your information, including Personal Information, for the purpose of completing transaction through its e-commerce platform. You should familiarize yourself with the privacy policy and terms of use governing the collection and use of information by Shopify. We may use other third parties for other services from time to time. These third parties have no authority to use your Personal Information for their own promotional purposes. These third parties will only have limited access to your Personal Information in order to help complete transactions.

Through our Site’s web host, Shopify, Inc., Georgia Kate Boutique utilizes industry standard technology for Internet security purposes. When you access our checkout using industry standard technology, your information is protected with both server authentication and data encryption, ensuring that your data is safe, secure, and available only to Georgia Kate Boutique. Although Georgia Kate Boutique uses industry standard practices to protect your Personal Information, WE DO NOT REPRESENT, WARRANT AND/OR GUARANTEE THAT PERSONAL INFORMATION WILL REMAIN SECURE.
