Do your items run true to size?

In general, the answer is YES! All of our items fit true to size. In the event an item fits differently, that information will be in the product description. We hand measure each product and provide fit details for every style, so be sure to read the details section before buying. If designer/brand specific size charts are available, they will be included in the individual product page in photos or description.

How do I pay for my goodies?

Georgia Kate Boutique utilizes Shopify payments, which include Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards. You may also pay using PayPal Express. We also offer the option of split payments through Sezzle. All Sezzle related details are securely handled directly between the shopper and Sezzle. See how Sezzle works here

What items are dry clean only?

Taking great care of your clothes will help you get the most out of them. Most of our items can be washed on COLD/DELICATE and LAY FLAT or HANG TO DRY. We’ll let you know in the product description if something is dry clean only. Be sure to review the details for cleaning instructions before purchasing.

*Disclaimer: You Do You. Meaning, if you have a preference for how your clothing is cared for, then stick to it. On a girl to girl level, over the years, I experimented with various methods on anything labeled as “hand wash only” as my closet is filled with clothing/brands/lines that we carry in GKB. In our case, my washing machine’s delicate cycle with cold water was more efficient than my hands. Time is a biggie. No one has time to wash clothes by hand 24/7. KEY is drying. Listen to your mother, unless she tells you to use high heat on the dryer. Your clothes will last longer if you avoid high heat settings. *Remember to please ONLY HANG to DRY or LAY FLAT to Dry when it comes to our clothing.* 

Do you have a storefront?

Sit back and relax! You can shop with us, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week! Georgia Kate is available to you when its convenient to you and your schedule. We won't tell if you're still in your pj's. That's between us. Our curated collections are available online, so you can us no matter where you call home. You can also find us at area events. Check out our "events" page to see where Georgia Kate will be! All online orders are handled and shipped out the KC area. We do offer a local pickup option for our KC area shoppers! Simply choose the “local pickup” at checkout. When your order is ready to go home, you'll be contacted right away! How often are items restocked?

We do our best to restock our best sellers on a weekly basis, availability permitting. Shipping times and/or delays make it difficult to provide an exact date of restock. We do offer email notifications when your favorite items return. For each item you wish to be notified about, select your size and enter your email address to be notified when the item has been restocked.

All About E-Gift Cards

Georgia Kate gift cards are issued in the form of an electronic gift card code that is sent via email. We do not offer physical gift cards at this time. E-gift cards may be purchased here. Any remaining balance on your e-gift card after a purchase, will be SAVED and available to use on your next shopping adventure! Keep your e-gift card code safe as it is considered currency. E-gift cards cannot be exchanged for cash. Discount and promo codes cannot be used for the purchase of an e-gift card. E-gift cards are not transferrable. 

Store Credit: How does it work?

  • Store credit will be issued for the actual cost of the item, excluding any shipping fees paid; and can only be used for purchases online.
  • Store Credit value is equal to the actual cost of the item and its paid sales tax. Shipping fees paid are not eligible to be included in any store credit issued. 
  • Store credit will expire 12 months from the date of issuance. 
  • Store credit will be issued in the form of an e-gift card sent via email.
  • Store credit is ONE time use credit. Your purchase should be equal to the value of the issued store credit. If your purchase is a little over the value of your credit, an additional form of payment will be required at checkout. But please don't worry if your cart is a little higher, your goodies are worth it!
  • Your use the e-gift card and store credit codes constitutes your agreement to our Terms & Conditions

All About Discounts and Promo Codes

To use a discount or promo code, enter your code in the text box, at checkout, that says "Gift Card or Discount Code." Click "Apply" and your total will be adjusted. Promo codes and offers cannot be combined with already discounted items or sale items, previously purchased items or for the purchase of gift cards.

E-Gift Cards/Promo Codes Issued by GKB for Promotional Events

E-Gift card codes issued as a result of drawings, promotions, contests, giveaways, etc: From time to time, Georgia Kate Boutique may issue gift card codes to individuals, who may or may not be registered customers on our website. These are issued at NO COST to the recipient, but are considered currency once issued. These store issued e-gift card(s) are ONE PER PERSON, ONE TIME USE CODE(s) that require a MINIMUM purchase BEFORE any applicable sales tax and/or shipping. Your purchase should be equal to the value of the issued promotional credit. If your purchase is a little over the value of your credit, an additional form of payment will be required at checkout. But please don't worry if your cart is a little higher, your goodies are worth it! Any remaining balance will be lost, so be sure you use the full value.*Minimum purchase requirement is based on the store issued amount and may vary. Rules and Guidelines will be stated at the time of an event, promotion, giveaway or contest. Please be sure you read any listed exclusions/disclaimers.

    Are your shipping products recyclable?

    All of our shipping products are made from 100% recycled post consumer waste and are ready to be reused or recycled…and all earth friendly. Because Georgia Kate Boutique is an extension of our family, GKB believes in sustainability. We recycle at our home and will do our best to help you recycle in yours. And you won’t need to worry about receiving an order in packaging that is oversized. We use packaging that is just the right size to not only ensure sustainability, but also preserve product integrity.     How do I create a customer account?

    Creating an account is easy! To sign up for an account, click ACCOUNT on the upper right hand corner of www.georgiakateboutique.com. You would then click CREATE AN ACCOUNT on the right side of the screen under “New Customer.” By creating an account you will be able to checkout faster, store multiple shipping addresses, view and track orders, receive updates and even create a wishlist!
