Each pair is individually handmade using high fired stoneware clay. After first kiln fire, they are cleaned, bisque fired, glazed, glaze-fired, and then hand-painted with 22K gold luster and fired for a third and final firing to melt and fuse the gold to the vitrified ceramic surface.

Recommend Care: Gently hand wash only using non-abrasive, non-harsh chemicals. Gold is a soft precious metal and any harsh dishwashing soaps can scratch it over time.
